MA Computer Animation |
| I love reading poetry, this is partly how I became involved with this project. My aim is to produce an animation inspired by a poem called "The sonata of moonlight" that was written by a famous Greek poet, Giannis Ritsos. The basic motive of the poem is a form of social disclosure. The following poem is one of my favorites in which you can come across many similarities with my project. |
The windows |
In these darkened rooms, where I spend oppresive days, I pace to and fro to find the windows. -- When a window opens, it will be a consolation. -- But the windows cannot be found, or I cannot find them. And maybe it is best that I do not find them. Maybe the light will be a new tyranny. Who knows what new things it will reveal. |
