Grief | |
| A swelling threatening ocean that swirls and pulls; swept along in a sea of grief. Drowning? A sea of despondency - being swamped by incessant waves of grief that washes over me. Adrift, disorientated in the expanse of the mighty ocean; go with the swell and troughs, ride the plethora of waves and be thrown and tossed mercilessly in the turbulent troubled waters. | |
| Storms subside to quieter waters; agitated swells recede to more tranquil stretches; turmoil to calm, chaos and confusion to peace and stillness; unstirred pools. | |
| Grief is not just something that happens to you when somebody near to you dies - It is something you do, an active process, or pathway for you to follow, a journey for which you are responsible, and not a passive event caused by circumstances beyond your control. | |
| Making 'Grief' is about charting that journey, a path that is taken; a voyage that marks the passage of time. | |
